Hands Down Baby Shower Game

Deciphering the clues printed on Mickey’s glove is the aim of this handy baby shower icebreaker.

You’ll need:

  • Template for Hands Down Baby Shower Game
  • White card stock
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick
  • Pencil for each guest

1. Print out enough copies of the template to create a Mickey glove game card for each guest (one page makes two cards).

2. Cut out the pieces and pair each of the glove tops (the ones with three blue pleats) with a glove printed with jumbled letters. Glue each pair together back-to-back.

3. To play the game, pass out a card (printed side down) to each guest. On cue, everybody flips over the cards and tries to be the first to unscramble the five words, each of which spells an object that a baby holds in his/her hand. The first person to write down all the correct answers (1.spoon, 2.block, 3.sippy cup, 4. rattle, 5. bottle) and flip her card back over wins the game. For a follow-up challenge, you can invite guests to name as many additional handheld objects as they can think off in a specified number of minutes.
