The Moment When Baby Discovers Toilet Paper

So Little L is 11 months as of yesterday. In one month she will be ONE, and we are already at the stage where she cries her face off when I walk away. What can I say, she absolutely ADORES her mami! It’s gotten to the point that I can’t shower without her being in the bathroom with me. So I shower and leave her with a few toys — it’s a small area, so there’s not much she can do. She loves sticking her chubby little hands in the tub, feeling the sprinkling of the water on her face, and then sucking the water off her hands. Soooooo cute!

However, last week, Little L decided she needed something new to try in the bathroom… something she obviously overlooked the first few times. She discovered TOILET PAPER!

OH. MY. GOODNESS! I swung back the shower curtain to peek in on her, and there she was, grinning from ear to ear, unrolling the toilet paper, cutting up pieces and squealing with excitement. It was too much for her to handle — so much so, that she started to EAT IT as soon as she saw me.

Let’s hope her snack habits change soon!

  • Oh! Now what is this?

    Oh! Now what is this?

And so it began…she pulled, and pulled and pulled!

  • Helping mami out

    Helping mami out

If you want to look on the bright side, she is pre-cutting the paper for us. How thoughtful!

  • Need some?

    Need some?

Here mami, I’ll give you a handful so you don’t have to unroll it!

  • Fiber?

She had to taste it for quality control purposes. Apparently it’s the best kind out there. Phewwww!
