Saying Goodbye to My Disney Baby Family

Nine months ago, I began a wonderful journey writing for Disney Baby. It’s been an incredible experience. I have learned so much about my children and myself in such a short period of time. I have had moments where I found myself looking for the magic in the simplest things, because that’s what Disney has done to me; they’ve encouraged me to see the magic in my day-to-day life. When I think about it, they’ve probably done that for you, too.

Last week my daughter turned 2, and my incredible Disney Baby experience now comes to an end. I am sad to leave, really, because this opportunity has made me a better writer, a better mom, and a better person. But I leave with a heart overflowing with gratitude.

I firmly believe that the experiences in our lives happen at certain times for a reason. When Disney Baby entered my world, I was in need of something that would remind me of how magical life really is. I needed something that encouraged me to soak in the precious everyday moments with my children, because it all goes by so very fast.

I thank all of you for reading and joining me on this journey. I hope my posts have been informative and entertaining. I hope I have been able to help you discover awesome Disney products that make life a little bit sweeter, while also sharing personal stories that make you smile. I don’t share stories about my children often, because they are the most precious parts of my life, and I am always inclined to protect them. Thank you for giving me a space where I could share stories about them with ease.

At the risk of sounding cheesy, I have to say that being a part of the Disney family, even if for a short period of time, has been magical. I will be forever grateful for this experience because I have grown in so many ways. I know that so much of what lies ahead will somehow be influenced by these nine months I have spent with all of you.

Again, thank you to everyone I have crossed paths with during this journey. Writing and parenting my awesome kids are two of the things I value most in the world. What a blessing it’s been to have an experience that has made me better at both.
