A Super-Simple Easter Garland Even Your Toddler Can Help With

As much as I love to decorate for different holidays, it’s just not as easy as it used to be. With three little ones running around at home, there’s not a lot of time for creating those beautiful Pinterest-worthy scenes. Nowadays, I tend to focus on decorating with things that are easy to make with my little ones.

This carrot and egg garland is so adorable! (Not to mention, FREE!) My toddlers can help with every step – from picking out the paint samples at the store to hanging the carrots and eggs on the string! If you are looking for a fun activity to do with your little one, this Easter garland is perfect. Decor that’s fun, festive, and free!

Supplies needed:

  • Paint samples in a variety of colors – orange and green for carrots, then cute pastel colors for the Easter eggs. The wider the paint sample, the better.
  • Tape
  • String

Directions:

Cut long, skinny triangles out of orange paint samples to make your carrots. Add little green tops with tape. Then, cut oval/egg shapes out of your pastel paint samples. Tape your carrots and eggs onto the string, and then hang! So simple!

Happy Easter!
