Share Your Celebration | An Airplane-Themed Baby Shower

Several months ago Ria (the wonderfully talented photographer behind Lola’s newborn photos) shared photos from her airplane themed baby shower on Facebook. I almost couldn’t handle the cuteness that was to be seen in each photo featuring darling and creative details from her special day. Today I am excited to share them with you. The idea is perfect for a mama who loves to travel or who just may be expecting a future Disney’s Planes lover! Take a look:

Paper airplanes, a special banner and fluffy white clouds set the tone for this fun celebration! I see blue skies ahead for this sweet family.

  • Creative labeling

Treats from the party were labeled with clouds featuring creative names for each item. Propeller pops? Yes please!

  • Handpainted luggage

The addition of “luggage” in the form of miniature wooden suitcases fit the theme perfectly.

  • Buckle up!

Red vines symbolic of harness straps. I love that a lot of the treats they used can be purchased from your local store. Those who don’t bake need not worry. You can still put together a party packed with special details!

  • Spare tires

More airplane parts. Donuts take on the form of spare tires. A simple and adorable treat.

  • Airplane cookies

Cookies were decorated to look like airplanes. Placing them on a stick made them ready for take off!

  • Cupcakes

    What’s a party without cupcakes?

  • A sweet send-off

Souvenirs were given to all who came, complete with thank you kisses from the family.
