5 Perfect Valentine’s Day Gifts for an Expecting Mommy

Valentine’s Day has always been one of my favorite holidays because it’s all about love and pampering. (It probably doesn’t hurt either that it’s my birthday.) But Valentine’s Day is also the perfect time to spoil that expecting mommy!

Here are some fantastic ideas for Valentine gifts she’s sure to love.

1. Pedicure

This one is my top gift. I absolutely love getting pedicures, but it’s especially wonderful when you’re pregnant and can hardly reach your own toes. When I was pregnant with KJ, my feet were so swollen — so that foot massage that accompanies the pedicure was a lifesaver.

2. A home-cooked meal that she DOESN’T have to make

When I was pregnant with Bentley, I had this strange tingly feeling in my legs any time I stood longer than 15 minutes. I learned to just push through it and tough it out — but man, was it nice when Chris told me to relax and that he would cook dinner so I didn’t have to.

3. The perfect lounging, nursing, sleeping chair

Not only is this chair gorgeous, but it’s a super comfy place to feed the baby. Plus, the size is perfect for growing with your family. It is sure to never go out of style and to be loved by parents and kiddos.

4. Breakfast in bed

Do I really need to explain why this is every mom’s dream?

5. A comfy hospital package

Surprise that expecting mommy with some amazing goodies for her delivery at the hospital. Include super soft and comfy pajamas, an eye mask for her tired eyes, a cute water bottle (she will be thirsty), a twin size comforter so she can have her own blanket, all necessary toiletries so she can shower and smell nice, and don’t forget to include a gift for the nurses from your wife. (I brought a huge box of individually wrapped chocolate suckers.)

Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to spoil that lady in your life who is busy growing a tiny miracle in her belly. I hope you are able to get her at least one of these gifts on the list. If you’re super romantic, you could do all FIVE! I’m pretty sure that would make for the best Valentine’s Day for mommy-to-be!
