This weekend, we celebrated Lola’s birthday by having a small celebration with family and friends. But before that, thanks to the generosity of a family friend, we headed to the Magic Kingdom. Each time we go, it is even more exciting for Lola. She couldn’t wait to go see Mickey Mouse! Here are a few photos from our day.
Celebrating Two at Disneyland and California Adventure
Take a look at a few photos from our final Disney adventure of the season.
While we were waiting to go inside, Lola kept saying “Mommy go inside.” She was ready!
An important call
Before we got going, we stopped to get Lola’s birthday button. That day, she smiled or laughed every time someone said “Happy birthday Lola.” While getting her button, she received a very important call – a happy birthday wish from Goofy!
Lola wore the same dress and ears her sister wore when we took her to Disneyland for her 2nd birthday almost 8 years ago.
Quality time with Mickey
This time, Lola left her Minnie plush in the car. She had one special request – Mickey Mouse.
A quick family photo and then we were off!
This smile is as good as it gets. Lola had so much fun. She often insisted on walking rather than riding in her stroller and was eager to go on rides.
Lola went on several rides and even put her hands up on some. It was so cute, and I loved getting to ride some of them alongside her and her big sister.
My minis meeting Minnie Mouse
Lola wanted to see Minnie so we waited in line for a chance to say hello and pose for a photo.
A photo of us girls.
Lola stayed up for most of the day. I am certain she didn’t want to miss anything. Once she fell asleep, we decided to head home. It was such a special day!
