Moms are pretty special and there is something about them that I think is even a little bit magical. Mothers may not be faster than a speeding bullet, or be able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, but they have some other skills that definitely make them magical in my book.
10 Reasons Mothers Are Magical
There is just something about moms that is extra special…magical even.
1. They always know just what you need
Mothers just have a knack for being so attuned to their little ones that they know what they need almost intuitively. While no one else may understand a baby’s cry, a mama will.
2. They can survive on little to no sleep
Babies don’t always “sleep like babies” and many mamas stay up burning their candle late into the night to achieve everything on their to-do lists, thus being well-rested is not a common occurrence of motherhood. BUT, moms manage to push through and do an amazing job despite their tiredness.
3. They are always prepared
Have you ever looked in a mom’s bag? It’s an impressive thing, filled with any and every supply you could possibly ever need. Moms have a magical skill for planning ahead and always anticipating every crisis before it has a chance to happen.
4. They can grow people
The ability to grow a person – a beautiful, perfect, little baby – is one of the most magical things there is!
5. They are incredible multitaskers
Moms can make a phone call, nurse their baby and cook dinner all at the same time. They can juggle a hundred things at once – a definite magical mom skill.
6. They are the best entertainers
Got a grumpy babe or toddler? Send them to a mom. They’ll be able to cheer them up in no time flat with little more than a song and a smile.
7. Their hugs can stop tears in one fell swoop
Tears are no match for the magical hug of a mother.
8. They are the makers of magical moments for others
Fun outings and special family traditions are often the doing of mothers. They have a way of making even the most everyday moments into pure magic.
9. They know how to be nurses even without training
Have you ever seen a mom nurse her child during their first fever or flu? Somehow without any formal training, they just seem to know how to care for the physical needs of their children.
10. Their love is perfect and unconditional
Despite the sleep deprivation, tantrums, and break downs, moms have an almost surreal ability to love their children through it all. The love of a mother is perfect, unconditional and definitely more than a little bit magic.
