Christmas is almost here, and I can’t wait!
It’s my baby’s first Christmas and our whole family is looking forward to celebrating with her. She’s loved the lights on the tree and taken a particular interest in one gift (that’s not for her!), and she loves carrying it as she crawls around the family room.
Nothing makes the holidays more magical than a little one, I think.
If you’re wrapping up your shopping or thinking about stocking stuffers, here are 10 fantastic last-minute holiday gifts for babies. And for even more ideas, be sure to check out Disney Baby’s special gift guides, featuring Minnie and Mickey Mouse, Nemo, the Disney Princesses, and Winnie the Pooh!
A bath toy. Bath time is such a fun event for a baby and a few toys make it even more enjoyable. They’re small enough to tuck in a stocking and make great toys to stick in your diaper bag too, for when you’re running errands and need something for your baby to play with.
A pacifier. This is my baby’s absolute favorite item in the world and she’s never loved anything as much as her NUK pacifier. When she’s tired, she brings her pacifier clip up to her face and it’s about the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.
A crib sheet. Whether you want something more fun than a plain white one or a backup one for those inevitable midnight swaps, these cute patterns make it even nicer to tuck your baby into bed. Every parent will appreciate this.
A crib liner. When you’re looking for that gift you know they won’t have 10 of already, try one of these clever crib liners that protects the baby’s furniture (and the baby!). Our oldest daughter took the paint off the entire front rail of her crib by smacking her pacifier on it when she was a baby. Plus, it means you won’t lose pacifiers or socks through the bars and your baby won’t wedge their leg between the bars, either.
A blanket. You can just never have too many of them, and this size is perfect for swaddling newborns and then useful for years afterward as burp rags, tucking in a baby during a car or stroller ride, and using as a makeshift nursing cover.
A waterproof bib. I don’t use any bibs besides these waterproof ones that just wipe down and never stain. Plus, for less than $5, it’s the perfect stocking stuffer.
A plush toy. My girls love something new to snuggle, and I always enjoy a cute little face poking out of their stockings (last year we did two Minnie dolls!). These holiday Minnie and Mickey plush toys are darling.
A waterproof reusable bag. These things are the best — they’re so useful and are a great alternative to disposable plastic baggies. And they’re machine washable and safe for the dishwasher.
