The other day, I was watching my oldest son, “Big”, play with his toddler sister, “Pink”, and I couldn’t get over how sweet their bond is. From the very beginning, he’s been gentle, patient, and totally in love with this baby girl. Here are some of my favorite pictures of the two of them together.
Since the day Pink came home from the hospital, Big has loved cuddling up with her.
Holding the baby is great, but looking at her is pretty amazing too.
Then One Day...
She can cuddle and kiss right back. And it’s bliss.
She can’t stop staring at his hand, he can’t stop staring at her.
Peace and Quiet
Who knew cartoon time could be any more wonderful than it already was?
What’s better than cuddling? Laughing!
First Day Blues
The only time Big was sad on his first day of kindergarten? Realizing he wouldn’t get to spend the day with his baby sister.
…I love you!
And They Lived Happily Ever After
He apparently doesn’t adore her enough to let her pick the reading material. But she doesn’t mind.
Just Like Him
Yes, she found her other brother’s matching shirt, shouted, “On! On!” Then went and sat with her milk right next to Big.
