Want, Need, Wear, Read: Baby

When it comes to holiday gifts, we often think more is better. But I like keeping it simple so that each gift is thoughtful and memorable. That’s why I like the tradition of giving four gifts: a want, a need, something to wear, and something to read. I’ll be sharing ideas for the whole family this week following this rule. Today it is baby’s turn.

  • Want: Stacking Ring

Once they can sit up, they’ll love playing with this stacking ring toy. And when it’s not in use, it makes a good decoration.

    Need: First Christmas Ornament

I know several people who have a tradition of giving a new ornament every year to their children. I think this sweet rocking horse would be perfect for baby’s first.

    Wear: Mickey Mouse Tee

I love the classic Mickey on this tee. It looks like a comfy, everyday wear kind of tee.

    Read: Belly Button Book

Board books are perfect for curious babies who still put everything in their mouth. I love the sing songy writing of Sandra Boynton.
