"A Pirate's Adventure" Coming This Summer to Disney World & Pirate Booty for Your Baby!
Yesterday, Disney Imagineers unveiled a new addition to Walt Disney World’s Adventureland in the Magic Kingdom. Coming summer 2013, visitors to Walt Disney World can now take part in an exciting new interactive quest: A Pirate’s Adventure: Treasures of the Seven Seas. Armed with a magic compass and a treasure map, your little pirate adventurers can explore all the special secrets just for those brave enough to embark on A Pirate’s Adventure. Disney Imagineers shared a sneak peek video highlighting all the interactive family fun.

Roar! My Favorite Lion King Items
My toddler doesn’t have much of an attention span for movies yet, but she loves the first twenty minutes of The Lion King, when all of the animals congregate for the presentation of baby Simba. I think she’d be happy to watch that opening scene a hundred times in a row, shouting out the animals as they appear (“Elephants! Zebras! Giraffes!”).
So, of course, anything in our house with Simba on it is a big hit. Here are some of our favorite items featuring the little lion cub:

Where are all my nerdy moms and dads at? My husband and I like to pretend that we’re cool, but we’re really just big nerds. We like to talk about photography gear and re-watch Star Wars for the hundredth time in our free time. So when we were planning our son’s nursery it’s no real surprise that we went with a (slightly nerdy) sky/space theme.
