Thanks to Disney for sponsoring this post and giving me the “M” is for Mickey 4-Piece Crib Bedding Set for free.
When we first decorated our son’s nursery, we decided to go with a jungle theme. However, every now and then we like to switch up his bedding set. It’s a great, inexpensive way to change things up a bit. Now that he turned one, it’s also exciting to see him recognize some of his favorite characters. The other day when I received this “M” is for Mickey 4-Piece Crib Bedding Set, I couldn’t wait to try it on. As soon as he saw Mickey, he couldn’t stop smiling and kissing the Mickey Mouse on the blanket. It was the cutest thing.

Sharing nursery inspiration is one of my favorite things to do here at Disney Baby, so you can only imagine how exciting it is to be sharing my own little one’s nursery with you here! As soon as I found out we were having a boy, I knew that I wanted the theme of his nursery to be something that felt cozy, woodsy and something that rang true to our Pacific Northwest roots. I knew there would be plenty of Pendleton wool (we live in Oregon and Pendleton is a local love here), and a lot of wood accents. My other reason for choosing this theme is that it allowed me to pull items I already had around my home and repurpose them as nursery items. This entire room cost a total of zero dollars (aside from the $10 I spent on DIY art supplies) because they were all items I already owned. Score! Good design doesn’t have to be expensive – it just requires a little bit of creativity. Hope you enjoy my little Clive’s room!

I let Baylor watch Finding Nemo for the first time a few days ago. He was mesmerized by the quirky cast and vibrant colors of the movie. The ocean is such a tranquil setting. What better way than to coax your babe into some sweet zzz’s than with some Finding Nemo décor?

By the end of the day, I’m ready to be done parenting. I love bedtime! (And I’m sure I’m not the only parent who does).
What I don’t want is a long drawn-out struggle when bedtime rolls around.
Over the years, I’ve gotten better at making bedtime a quick and easy event for all of us.
(And often, once our two girls are down, my husband and I high-five in the hallway. The night is ours!)
Here are some of our secrets for making bedtime simple and straightforward:
