It’s the end of the day. I’m tired… no, I’m exhausted. I mommied it up extra hard today. Pancakes, home school lessons, laundry, errands, swim lessons, more errands, breaking up sibling arguments, dinner… and oh yeah, dinner. It feels like the day that never ends. Yes, it goes on and on my friends. Then bedtime creeps closer and I’m doing a happy dance up the stairs. But first, bath time.

My girls love taking baths (and now that they aren’t infants, it’s nice that I can sit on the floor next to the tub and flip through a magazine while they play in the bubbles).
But when it’s time to get out, there are always a few tears and blue lips.
These bathrobes to the rescue! Bath time ends on a happy and warm note with these snuggly robes.

Lately, one of my favorite parts about the day is when Soren and I go upstairs for the night and start his nighttime routine before bed. Since Soren is a newborn and doesn’t have too much knowledge about the time of day, I wanted to start creating a routine with him that he could get used to and associate with bedtime. This has also become such a special bonding time for us too. :) Check out our routine schedule below:

Jada has loved water from the moment she took her very first bath. Whether she’s in a pool, at the beach, or in a tub, being in water has always been a happy place for her.
Bathtime has become an opportunity for us to bond and it’s one of our favorite parts of the day. I like to think of bathtime as a chance for Jada to unwind and relax after a busy day. Considering how much she seems to enjoy it, I think she feels the same way.

Thanks to Disney for sponsoring this post and giving me the Minnie Mouse Stack and Smile Cups by Sassy for free.
It’s the simplest of toys that make Little L happy. Oh and if I add water there is just no stopping her! In fact, I have to pry her chubby little fingers from the set of 3 Minnie Mouse cups in order to get her dry and dressed for bed.
Each cup has holes at the bottom to let the water drip out, she loves the mini-shower feel over her mouth — she tries to drink the water!
