Potty training is most parent’s least favorite part of the early years. In my experience, each child trains differently. Some children are excited and ready to train, while others are pretty reluctant. We have been trying to train our toddler for some time now. Just the other day, I came across this awesome 3-day plan and knew I had to share it with you here…

So, in addition to my gig as mom to a six-year-old, four-year-old, and a newborn, I have a two-year-old son.
Usually, when people find out that my son is two, I get the typical sympathetic head shake. “Oh man,” they will say. “You have got your hands full.”
It’s no surprise that my son is a very busy guy indeed. I love being a mom to a boy, but I will tell you straight-up and honestly, he exhausts me in a way that my daughters never have.

I am so thankful that baby registries exist, because without one (along with the generosity of friends and their hand-me-downs!) we wouldn’t have had many of the important baby gear items we needed for our daughter when she arrived. Swaddle blankets, bottles, binkies and even diapers were given to us and it was wonderful! With our second child I didn’t register, because we already had most of the things we needed, but if I were creating a dream registry wish list of things there are a few things I could think to add. Here are quite a few unconventional things I would include on my wish list…

The days of rattles and baby toys are long gone for our little toddler. He’s moved on up to “big boy” toys. From train sets to drawing easels, here are a few of his favorites that he can’t get enough of.

Thanks to Disney for sponsoring this post and giving me a Dumbo plush for free.
Let’s be honest: I love giraffes. Absolutely adore them. Ever since my oldest was a baby, almost eight years ago, I’ve always introduced a stuffed giraffe as their first lovey. You know, just until they can form their own opinions about which animal is their favorite. With Amani being my first ever DisneyBaby from birth, it only felt right that we introduce her to the magic of a Disney lovey first.
