Fern’s second birthday is right around the corner in January. We were trying to think of an extra special way to celebrate, and what better way than hanging out at the happiest place on earth? Yep! We’re going to Mickey’s house!
We’ll be going to Disneyland for a few days – my parents, my husband, Fern and I – and staying at the Grand Californian. I just might be more excited about it than my child is. Although, she does keep talking about going to Disneyland and how we’re going to “Mickey’s house.” The other day when I buckled her up in the car, she said, “Disseyland Mama! Let’s go!” I think it’s safe to say she’s pretty excited too.
We’ve been to Disneyland before, but it was nearly a year ago, so I’m excited to see how different it will be with a full-blown toddler. I’m hoping to do a character breakfast and get a birthday button for Fern, but I’d love any other suggestions from those of you who have celebrated birthdays at Disney before, or if you just have any suggestions for me. Things like what’s the best character breakfast, or rides and attractions Fern will really love. We’ll also be going to California Adventure which we’ve never been to before, so if you have any suggestions for little ones there that would be great.
We can’t wait to visit Mickey and his friends!
