Disney Meets Hallmark ~ The Newest Baby Gifts To Put On Your Radar

Vintage fashions, books, toys and gifts appeal to me on a larger scale than regular versions of the same products. There is something about the past that evokes feelings of a time gone by when life was simplistic and everyday design was the epitome of classic elegance.

The Hallmark Company has been working magic and touching the hearts of so many with their words for over 90 years so it really is quite fitting that they should partner with Disney Baby on this adorable collection.

If you or anyone you know has a baby shower coming up, this 7-piece collection should definitely be on their radar! Photo albums, picture frames and vintage plush characters have been designed with a subtle colorway and a hint of nostalgia. Click through for details on the products and information on where you can purchase them.

Merida Is Officially Crowned Making Her The 11th Disney Princess

It’s official! During a magical ceremony at Walt Disney World Resort, Merida, from the Disney·Pixar’s Academy Award® winning film, “Brave,” was welcomed into the Disney Princess Royal Court and crowned the 11th Disney Princess.

Hundreds of park guests looked on as Merida was led in by a troop of Scottish dancers and an authentic pipe and drum band. Instead of the traditional horse-and-carriage arrival and in true Merida fashion (of course) she made her own path, making her way to Cinderella’s Castle. The event was a touching moment between mother and daughter as Queen Elinor crowned Merida. The super adorable British singers and TV personalities of “The Ellen Degeneres Show”, Sophie Grace Brownlee and Rosie McClelland, took to the stage for a performance all their own. It was most definitely an event to remember! Here are some of the highlights from the festivities.

Disney Isn't Just For Kids ~ Mother's Day Gift Ideas Inspired By The Mouse

In case you haven’t noticed, I’m a big fan of “The Mouse” and although my kids adore Disney, mama has a special place in her heart for the magic as well. Each and every time we visit Walt Disney World, I make my way through the gift shops for both my daughters as well as myself. There are many great finds for adults that are both tasteful and subtle without ever screaming “DISNEY!”

The Dooney & Bourke collection has been on my wish list for quite some time now. This famous designer releases limited bags and leather goods that are inspired by Disney Parks each and every year. The Sketch collection is one of my favorites, but they also have an assortment of other fun designs.

From fashions and jewelry to kitchen goods and home decor, here are 15 adorable and tasteful Disney gifts that should be on your radar for your favourite lady.

Disney Launches "Story" App & We Put It Into Play - Our Day At The Park

This post is sponsored by Disney Story. To find out more about this brand-new story-creation app – and how it puts the power of storytelling in your hands – click here.

When it comes to photography and photo organization, I’m extremely disorganized. My video clips and photos of my kids are all over the place and usually get dumped into iPhoto or folders throughout my desktop. This makes things challenging when I’m trying to create photo books or fun creations for my family. Over the past couple of weeks I’ve been testing out the brand new “Story” app from Disney that has made my life so much easier.

This is a digital storytelling app for iPhone and iPod touch that allows you to transform your photos and video to create beautiful stories that can be saved and shared. It’s genius because it automatically places your photos in order (by time and date) so you don’t have to manually insert each and every one. I took my son out to the park yesterday afternoon and put it into play. Here’s a look. Want to create your own? The Story App officially launched today and is available for free from the App Store http://bit.ly/18slGZY.
