A Quaint & Cozy Nursery for Baby

When I found out I was pregnant with Baby #3, I was worried we had outgrown our home. We rent a small farmhouse, so I wasn’t sure she’d be able to have a room of her own. During my pregnancy, our older daughters (ages 2 and 3) began to share a room, which opened up a tiny little room that was perfect for a nursery! Since we rent, we aren’t allowed to paint and we have to be careful with what we put on the walls. With some inspiration and a little bit of planning, we put together a really sweet nursery for our Margot. It’s small, but so cozy. It’s quaint, in the loveliest of ways! Best of all, she seems to love it! Click through to see the details of her sweet room…

3 Months of Margot

Last week marked three months of little miss Margot. Her birth seems long ago, yet the past three months have flown by. What I was calling “survival mode” has turned into our new normal. I feel like I have a pretty good handle on life with three little ones, now. That doesn’t mean it’s not crazy from time to time. It just means I feel like we have created a sweet little rhythm.

It took around two months for us to get all of our breastfeeding kinks worked out, and Margot has been nursing beautifully since. Around 12 weeks, Margot decided to become the best little babe on the planet, sleeping all night long, and napping well during the day, too. I’m serious. She’ll sleep in the middle of the floor with the vacuum going or her sisters running around, acting like hooligans in the background!

Surviving 3 Kids: A Trip to the Pool

I’m back today, sharing another post in my “Surviving 3 Kids” series here on Disney Baby. Today, let’s talk about a trip to the pool. No matter how many little ones you have, an afternoon at the pool can be a bit hectic. From keeping an eye on clumsy toddlers to avoiding the rowdy 12-year-olds (who don’t know to watch out for the clumsy toddlers,) it is a workout! This summer, we got a family pool pass and have been going a few times a week. Now that we’ve been at it for a month or so, I feel like I have a better idea on what to do and how to survive with three little ones at the pool…
