13 Must-See Playrooms for Baby

Besides a nursery, a playroom is where your baby will most likely spend their time if you have room for one. If you don’t, opt for a corner of the room to designate the baby zone. Even though it most likely won’t matter because once you have kids, I feel like toys are just everywhere. However, if you have a little one or are expecting soon I highly recommend creating a space for play. It is great to encourage creativity by having all of your toys in one organized space. Need a little inspiration? Browse some oh-so-fun playrooms to get ideas for your own space. After all, you need a place to put all those Disney toys right?

Little Gentleman: 11 Handsome Bowties

After having 4 girls, I have loads and loads of bows. I am talking tons. My girls are known to always have a headband on or some type of hair accessory. In fact, Sadie was known in the NICU for her adorable headbands, which I always stocked inside her bassinet drawer. The nurses loved dressing her up! A girl’s gotta have her accessories, right? Well, I told everyone my motto of “always leave the house with a bow” wasn’t going to stop just because I was welcoming a little boy. I was all about the bowtie. In fact, before he was even born, Grayson had a good collection and is now definitely well stocked. I have had such fun dressing him up and I never realized that a boy could be just as fun when it came to fashion as little girls. I just love him and all his little bowties.

Take a look at a few of my favorite from his personal collection and the must-have ones that I just can’t wait to add. Because bowties are just cool.

Name Art: 15 Ways to Display Your Baby's Name in the Nursery

As a mom, you spend so much time picking out your littles’ names. Zoe was easy; she was the first and I loved what her name meant: life. It was perfect. McKenzie came next because I wanted to call her Kenzie. However, the nickname never really fit her; instead, she liked M better. Then a few months after I had McKenzie I fell in love with the name Kennedy, but I wanted to spell it differently. So, when little miss K came along we did just that and we had ourselves Kennadi. Next came Sadie. This was a tough one because we always loved different names and we had to keep up with that trend. My husband actually came up with Sadie and I immediately fell in love. As for Grayson, well, we had it picked out for if Sadie had been a boy, so we just stuck with it. And that is our baby naming story. So in the spirit of names, I have come across some very creative DIY ways to display names in the nursery as well as some oh-so-pretty personalized prints too! Take a look at a few of my favorite ways to display your little one’s name with some fun name art!

A Family Affair: 14 Pictures from Grayson's First Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I love spending time with my family all day and not having to worry about checking email, doing work, or following any type of schedule. I love watching football while browsing the Black Friday sale ads. I love the smell of all the food cooking, and anticipating conversations it will bring. And this year, it was a little extra special because it was Grayson’s first big holiday! Believe me when I say I had picked out his outfit before he was even born. Yeah, I would say I was a tad excited. It is just something about the holiday season; getting ready for Christmas and all the love during the holidays that makes Thanksgiving so special. It reminds me that I am so blessed to have such amazing family, friends and beautiful people in my life and all that I am thankful for each and everyday. Now, take a browse through our special day.
