Ways to Document Your Pregnancy in Photos

With this pregnancy, I was pretty consistent about taking weekly photos, and it’s been fun to look back and see my little bump become a not-so-little bump.

Each week, I’ve taken a photo from the front and one from the side and put them next to each other, but I’ve loved looking around the Internet and seeing some of the many clever ways women document their own pregnancy on a weekly basis. Here are a few of my favorites:

Fruit or Vegetable

If you’ve looked at any baby information, you know the baby books and websites love to tell you what fruit or vegetable your baby’s size corresponds with. I love this clever weekly photo idea that features the produce AND the belly!

Pregnancy Book

I love the big beautiful photos that are of more aspects of pregnancy than just the belly. And putting them together at the end in a bound book is such a fun idea.

Note to Baby

It’s so cute to see these little notes to the baby along with the weekly pictures. What a treasure for a child to look back on someday!

Same Dress

Obviously, you’d need to pick something very stretchy to make this one work, but I think it’s really a fun thing to see the growth when you’re not distracted by the differences in clothing each week.

Chalkboard

I love the idea of using a chalkboard background to document! There’s plenty of room to write little notes, note the week, and draw any pictures you’d like.
