The Story of Us

Craig and Lauren grew up together. Craig was friends with Lauren’s brother and she thought he was annoying, but then in high school they started snowboarding together and became friends.

After becoming friends they realized the kind of liked each other and started dating. They even went to senior prom together. Craig and Lauren were just babies themselves back then.

Craig and Lauren headed off to college and over the years they went from being in like to being in love.

Craig and Lauren decided that after dating for six years it was about time to tie the knot. They got married on a day in December as the snow lightly fell outside behind them and it was pretty magical.

Before adding a human baby to their family, Craig and Lauren decided to add a furry friend to their family and that’s when Marley came to live with them. They loved her like a baby anyway.

Craig and Lauren learned that there were a lot of things to learn about each other and about being married, but they had fun figuring it out together.

One day Craig and Lauren decided that they’d like to add a little baby to their family. They waited and waited for her for nine long months and while they waited they decided they would name her Fern.

On a day in January, much like the day Craig and Lauren got married, as the snow lightly fell, baby Fern Winter made her way into the world and they loved her instantly and their hearts grew to make room for the newest member of their family.

This is where you usually say that “they lived happily ever after”, but this is just where the story starts…five years of marriage and a sweet little baby are only the beginning of this family’s story.
