The One Thing I Am Most Thankful For This Thanksgiving
This year, we are spending our Thanksgiving at home in San Francisco as our little family of four. Normally we would travel to the Midwest to feast on myriad traditional Thanksgiving foods made by many family members, but this year we must take it slower, with fewer choices at our Thanksgiving table. In future years we intend to travel, but for now we are here in our cozy little oceanside home. As much fun as it is to see extended family and eat so many good things that are prepared just once a year, we need not think that our Thanksgiving is any less special than it would be if we could travel to be with our families in the Midwest. Thanksgiving is a time to pause and be thankful, and as a family we have so much to be grateful for. In particular, there is one thing that I am thankful for above all else this year.
