Sweet as Hunny: Inspired Winnie the Pooh Baby Shower Ideas

I’m in the process of helping to plan a gender-neutral baby shower for a friend of mine, and I kept seeing “Winnie the Pooh” pop up as a gender-neutral baby shower theme over and over again. It makes sense: the color palette includes some great gender neutral colors, with hints of both Piglet pink and Eeyore blue without either being overpowering or suggestive of one gender or another. I love how you can really do a lot with a Winnie the Pooh theme: it can go from upscale elegance to rustic vintage charm with a few tweaks. There’s no denying that whatever you do with a Winnie the Pooh theme baby shower, it’s bound to be super cute!

Here are some of the most adorable Winnie the Pooh baby shower ideas I’ve come across in the last few weeks that are sure to inspire you a baby shower that’s sweet as hunny!

  • It's All in the Details

Some of my favorite things about party planning are all of the little details, like these sweet Winnie the Pooh bookends (showing one of my favorite little stories of how Pooh gets stuck in Rabbit’s door) holding up copies of Winnie the Pooh books. Really clever, really thoughtful and a very chic touch.

  • A Literary Touch

    A Literary Touch

A.A. Milne’s classic story has paved the way for so much cuteness in his Winnie the Pooh character. Add some of that charm with a copy of the book for the Mama-to-Be, or even copies for your guests to take home as favors.

It’s amazing how you can transform a simple veggie plate (a great baby shower food staple) into something perfectly tied into the Winnie the Pooh theme with the addition of a simple sign that reads “Veggies from Rabbit’s Garden.” When written on a tiny wood plank, it’s just another creative touch to really make this theme so sweet!
