Spooky Halloween Drinks for the Mom to Be

Halloween can still be a fun time for the mom-to-be with these spooky drinks. They’re all non-alcoholic so pregnant moms and kids can both enjoy them (you always have the option of adding alcohol if appropriate). The three drink suggestions are: Stabbery Daquiri, Gin & Tourniquet, and a Hemoglobpolitan. A fun and cool addition to any Halloween party.

Mix-ins can have creepy names like: Blood Thinner, Beetle Juice, Plucked Eyeballs, White Blood Cells, Heart of Raven, Coagulated Blood, and whatever else you can come up with. Everyone will love mixing their own Halloween drinks with this set up.

GIN & TOURNIQUET (single)
3 oz Cranberry Juice
3 oz Ginger Ale or Gin
1 tbs Torani Vanilla Flavor (Blood Thinner)
1 tbs Lime Jell-O, stirred to thin (Beetle Juice)
1 Green Grape or Olive on a pick (Eyeball)
Add to glass and mix well with a “Hypodermic Stirring Needle” (a straw).

HEMOGLOBPOLITAN (single)
6-8 oz Lemon-lime Soda or Vodka with Red Food Coloring (Blood)
1 tbs Half & Half (White Blood Cells)
1 tbs Fresh Strawberry Syrup (Clotted Blood)
1 Maraschino Cherry (Heart of a Raven)

Add a fun “Clotted Blood” party favor (it’s really just homemade strawberry jam) for all of your guests to take home. All of these Halloween printables are available here. Photography by Bettijo B. Hirschi.
