Snow Day Busters ~ 5 Free Printables For Tots
Does the weather have you down and out? It’s been so incredibly cold and blustery for weeks now, leaving us stuck inside the house, unable to venture into the great outdoors.
My 5-year-old and 7-year-old daughters have a routine when they get home from school. After all of their homework is completed, they choose from the huge selection of free downloadable “Frozen” colouring pages online and print them off. This morning, it occurred to me that there must be similar pages for toddlers, so of course I headed to my favourite DIY site – Spoonful.com.
What I found was a plethora of activities and printable pages (all free) that were suited for children of all ages. Some are definitely more suited for the older children, but they have a great selection for tots!
Here are 5 of my favourite printables for toddlers that are sure to cure the winter blues for at least a little while.
Color the Food
This is a great way to get your toddler familiar with primary colours as well as the visuals (and colours) of various foods.
Draw Your Dinner
Let their imaginations soar as they fill their plate with just about anything and everything. It’s fun to watch tots colour in their favourite foods!
Top The Pizza
Pepperoni? Olives? Tomatoes? Let your toddler choose!
Sofia the First
Sofia is a huge hit in our house with both my boy and our girls. This is one of our favourite print-outs!
