Reading Rainbow: Sibling Story Time

It’s a regular reading rainbow over here. These two little ones of mine are bonding more and fighting less every day. Lately, my son has taken up reading to his sister. It’s something that one would never really think of as all that wondrous, yet when I see it in action, it gets me every time.

Perhaps I’m partial because they are mine, but this is some cute business right here.

Abby adores her brother, hangs on his every word. His every action. She’s full-on into the copy-cat stage and mimics all that he does. So of course she’ll sit by his side and listen to him read story after story. It may not last – but right now? Right now this is pure heaven.

Does this mean Wyndham can start giving her breakfast and getting her dressed now too?!
