Our Nanny: More Than Childcare
Since I became a mom almost seven years ago, I’ve worked in different capacities — full time, part time, at a corporate office, from home. All along the way, I’ve had to depend on others to help me take care of my children.
These days, I’m mostly at home. But about ten hours a week, I say goodbye to my three sweet kids and enter the world of writing. It’s a passion of mine that seems to follow me everywhere I go (kind of like my kids), and I love having the time to dive in and build my blog and freelance business.
The best part? I know that I’m leaving three very happy kids behind.
This picture? It’s my baby girl seeing our nanny waiting by our house as we returned home from her baby gymnastics class.
Honestly, I’m pretty sure she and her brothers don’t even miss me. They’re in good hands. Loving, patient, fun, generous hands. We just celebrated three years with “TuTu”, and it truly was a celebration.
Thanks to her, my kids have one more person loving them, teaching them, and making them laugh. And, as a mom, I couldn’t be happier to have her in our lives either.
