My Princess and Her Palace

On Christmas morning, in a house filled with footballs and Star Wars paraphernalia, one present stood out among the rest. It was tall, pink, and utterly magical in the eyes of a 19-month-old girl. Yes, that was the day “Pink” officially entered into the realm of princess lovers.

The Little People Disney Princess Songs Palace was just what Pink had been waiting for. She’s always loved playing with little figures, and all the Little People princesses she got to go with the castle were just her size—easy to hold, and safe when they wander toward her ever-curious mouth.

Then, it happened. She realized she could get each princess to sing a bit of her own song. It turns out there’s a spot you can place the Little People, and when you press on their heads, they say something. Press again, they say something else. Press her a third time, and, well, our living room turns into a toddler dance party.

Magical.

I’ll admit, I don’t know all the Disney princess stories well, (though The Little Mermaid is definitely my favorite), but I have a feeling I’m going to rediscover them all very soon with this little princess by my side.
