Here is a cute last minute Owl Cupcake that you can bring to Halloween parties and play dates this week. This cupcake is easy to make and only takes a couple of minutes to assemble using a few simple ingredients. And if you’re feeling extra nice, the kids can help make these too.
For supplies, you only need: baked chocolate cupcakes in brown liners, some brown and orange candies, sandwich cookies, and chocolate frosting.
If you would like to, let each child make their own owl cupcake. First, frost the cupcakes with chocolate frosting. Next, untwist two cookies and carefully push two brown candies onto the white part of the cookies. Place the cookie eyes onto the cupcake. Then put an orange candy on its side in between the eyes to make the owl beak. Swirl some owl eyebrows at the top if you’d like. Ta da! A not so spooky, but still festive, Halloween treat.
