/>I grew up with a long name. My first name has seven letters, and then my maiden name is nine letters long. As a child, it felt like a mouthful. By the time I was in high school, though, I loved my name. The length didn’t bother me one bit.
My son’s first name is seven letters long, while my baby girl’s name is just four letters. I don’t think my husband and I put too much thought into the length of their names. We were more concerned about how well it flowed with our last name and how well the name fit our babies (both of my children weren’t named until more than 24 hours after I gave birth).
If you are looking for a shorter name for your baby, no matter what the reason might be, here are a few great names for boys and girls that are four letters or less. I hope one of them works wonderfully for your little one.
