First Birthday Party Activity

Usually first birthday parties have children of varying ages attending. It can be hard to think of different activities for such a wide variety of interests. A good way to include all of your party guests is to set out activities that they can grab and do with little explanation. For example, these jars have bubblegum, mini bubbles, sidewalk chalk, and sand shovels that kids can take and use outside while the party is going or bring home as a party favor. Having a party at a park or in your backyard can provide additional activities that will keep everyone entertained.

Always remember when planning party activities that most kids will get involved and have fun as long as you have a good attitude and are enjoying yourself. Simple is best and classic games are often the most fun (think: stuck in the mud, red rover, and duck duck goose). And if all else fails, turn up some happy music and dance.
