Favorite Instagrams from Lola's 9th Month
Last week the littlest miss turned 10 months old! As we venture into Lola’s 10th month I can’t help but reflect on how much she has grown. It’s one of those bittersweet things about parenthood. A part of you is thankful that your little one is healthy and growing, and that their little body is doing everything it is supposed to. And then there is a part of you who pines for that wrinkly newborn, the one that would stay in your arms slumbering to the sound of your heartbeat. Now that Lola is 10 months old sometimes I look at her and say, “You don’t look like a baby anymore!” Of course, she does, just different than she did at 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and even 9 months old. She’s growing longer and is not as plump as she used to be, despite still loving to eat. Her hair texture is changing and her personality continuing to blossom. To be honest, I have yet to sit down and print photos from the past several months, with the exception of the ones we sent out with her birth announcements; but from time to time I love to take a trip down memory lane by looking at old blog posts or my favorite – Instagram. Thanks to my iPhone I’ve been able to capture tons of moments that might have otherwise been missed because I forgot my camera or it wasn’t within reach. Here are some of my favorites from month 9:
Favorite Instagrams From Month 9
Take a look at some of my favorite Instagram photos from Lola’s 9th month.
Lola and daddy sleeping
There is nothing like a sleeping baby, except for maybe one sleeping in her daddy’s arms.
Here I am enjoying the fact that Lola has fallen asleep in my arms.
Helping me with the laundry
Here’s Lola helping me do the laundry.
Showing off those teeth!
Me getting in some extra cuddles with Lola, although she seems a little too busy for cuddles with mom.
Sitting in her high chair
During month 9 Lola made the transition from her special chair that we sat on the table (supervised of course) and fed her from and into a high chair that we pull up alongside us at the table.
Here’s Lola with her “cousins.” This little lady can be quite silly sometimes.
Enjoying some watermelon and the sunshine.
She looks so much like a big girl here.
Lola’s tia @mrsthmpsn took this photo of her sweet smile.
My caption for this photo: “Love is… Holding your baby sister’s hand until she falls asleep and when she finally does still holding it. #sisterlove”
Swinging at the park
