With December just a week away, I am in full swing to find the best advent calendar to make. I love to make them each year instead of buying them. That way I can fill them with goodies I know my daughter will like, and also I can make it a little healthier instead of filling it with candy.
Here is an easy DIY advent calendar that I made last year. (It also makes a cute wall hanging for the holiday season!)
DIY Advent Calendar
Create your own cute DIY advent calendar for your little ones.
To make this advent calendar you need…
1. Sewing Machine
2. Kraft Paper
5. Christmas Fabric
Houses & Trees
Fold kraft paper in half and cut in to cute little house and tree shapes.
Add in your little advent goodies and sew edges closed on the sewing machine.
Use festive fabric and colored buttons to decorate the trees and houses. Poke a hole through the top to string yarn and tie to a branch. You can string all your houses and trees to the branch to create a little holiday neighborhood for your wall.
Enjoy opening a new package with your little one each day in December!
