Cool Whip Painting

My girls have always loved sensory play. They love to explore new tastes and textures, sounds, and smells. They REALLY love anything that makes a mess. We’ve been doing Cool Whip painting for several years. It’s especially great for little ones who love to put everything in their mouths! Here’s how you can do your own Cool Whip painting at home…

Supplies:

  • Cool Whip
  • Food coloring
  • Muffin tin
  • Paint brushes
  • Paper or waxed paper
Directions:
  • Divide your Cool Whip between the muffin tin compartments.
  • Drop a few drops of food coloring in each one and mix to combine.
  • Use a paint brush to paint paper or a surface covered in wax paper.
This is a great activity for little ones of many ages. You can use your hands to get even more sensory play out of it. I recommend doing it outside, so you can hose it away when you’re done. Another idea? Paint in the bath! (Less mess!)
Have fun!
