Cool Cake Tutorials for Baby’s First Birthday

I can’t say I’m much of a cake decorator. I can bake a delicious cake, it’s just the making it pretty part that I struggle with. A couple weeks ago I was helping a friend make some cakes for her son’s birthday while making cakes for a baby shower too and let’s just say a couple ended up in the trash and an emergency trip to Whole Foods was made.

Since cake is a major party must, I would like to improve my skills so I was happy that the talented Lyndsay Sung started sharing tutorials on how she makes her professional cakes look perfect every time. Here are a few that would be perfect for a first birthday, if you want to make a pretty fantastic mpression.
