So you didn’t have time to send out a family holiday card this year. Girl, I don’t blame you. Last year on Christmas Day I was enormously pregnant waddling around the house barefoot, 38 weeks expecting with my 4th child. Holiday cards were at the very bottom of my to-do list, even at the very height of my nesting.

Instead, I sent out a holiday/birth announcement towards the end of January, after baby Paul made his arrival. I little belated note to wish all my friends and family a happy new year, while also announcing we received the BEST! GIFT! EVER!, a new little brother.

So if you’re in the same boat I was last year, don’t freak out about being the only one not sending out a holiday card mid-December. Do as I did, and save some cash by bundling the birth announcement and season’s greeting all in one lovely mailing.
