Advice Please: Solid Foods
If you don’t recall, Beck was not a fan of solid food the first time he tried it (see photo below). Well that was about two months ago and guess what? He’s still not a fan. The minute he sees the spoon his mouth glues shut and he’s mastered the art of jerking his head around to avoid any contact. We’ve tried several types of food, tried feeding him at different times of day, tried different spoons, tried having him direct the spoon, tried mesh bags and squeeze pouches – you name it. Last night he took a couple bites of mashed potatoes at a restaurant and we were basically dancing on the table in excitement.
So dear experienced moms and dads:

Have you dealt with a baby that just doesn’t like solid food? Do you have some tips for what I could try with Beck?
