Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I love spending time with my family all day and not having to worry about checking email, doing work, or following any type of schedule. I love watching football while browsing the Black Friday sale ads. I love the smell of all the food cooking, and anticipating conversations it will bring. And this year, it was a little extra special because it was Grayson’s first big holiday! Believe me when I say I had picked out his outfit before he was even born. Yeah, I would say I was a tad excited. It is just something about the holiday season; getting ready for Christmas and all the love during the holidays that makes Thanksgiving so special. It reminds me that I am so blessed to have such amazing family, friends and beautiful people in my life and all that I am thankful for each and everyday. Now, take a browse through our special day.
Dressed Up and Ready to Go
Grayson was all dressed up and ready to head to Nana’s house. I couldn’t wait to put him in this outfit. I purchased it when I was 6 months pregnant and couldn’t wait to put him in this adorable bowtie.

Happy Thanksgiving
I loved this adorable printable my Mom had laying out on the table. It is so pretty!

Family Time
The best part of Thanksgiving is getting to spend the entire day with your family. I am so lucky to have a younger sister who loves my kids as much as she would if they were her own. We are so blessed! {That is my sweet Sadie with her}
Happy Birthday to Me!
Since my birthday was the day before we celebrated on Thanksgiving. My Mom bought me a beautiful bouquet of flowers. I loved that they were grown in California! It’s the little things in life that make you smile.
Cheers
I decided to break out the champagne to cheers all I am thankful for. This was the first time I had anything to drink in almost a year. It was a magical moment!
Smile
Zoe has been counting down the days until Thanksgiving. She just loves holidays when all of our family gets together.
Ready for the Party
Grayson was so alert most of the day. As if he knew it was a special day with family. I think he had a great time watching everyone.
Sister Love
McKenzie had a rough pre-Thanksgiving week and was battling a bad case of croup. Finally being able to put on a smile for the big day! She couldn’t wait to give her little brother a hug.
Gobble Gobble
Grayon has severe acid reflux so many changes took place throughout the day. One of my favorites was this adorable personalized romper. Aw, my sweet little turkey!
Oh Kennadi
This little girl would stay outside all day if we let her! She decided to go outside after telling us it was too hot inside from all the cooking.
Nap Time
All the turkey talk made him sleepy!
Decorating the Tree
Sadie is 18 months old and while she is still very much a baby, she was so into decorating the Christmas tree. Last year, she was only 6 months old so this was very exciting for her.
Oh Christmas Tree
Once we arrived home, we put the last finishing touches on our Christmas tree. This was the first year we have ever put it up early.
Goodnight Moon
After a fun-filled day with family, I think Grayson enjoyed his first Thanksgiving and has plenty of pictures to remember it when he is older. This was the last picture I took right before he fell asleep.
