A Day in the Life of a 10 Month Old
Five months ago I gave myself the challenge of carrying my camera around with me the entire day and documenting Beck in his everyday routine. I found that not only was it enjoyable, it was good practice to get better using the camera and working with light and perspective. I also loved that through the series of captures, Beck’s personality shown through. I’ve decided to make it a regular practice. So here’s a recent day in the life of Beck, 10 months old.
8:30 am
Good morning sunshine.
8:45 am
Beck sits down for a breakfast of banana pancakes and strawberries. He still hasn’t figured out the self control thing yet so only two small pieces at a time.
9:15 am
Bath time has become a favorite of Beck’s and of mine. He likes to talk to his reflection he sees in the faucet.
9:40 am
Chewing on my phone case is a consolation prize for getting his clothes on.
10:30 am
Friends come over for some play time while the moms chat.
11:45 am
A big gulp as he gets ready for a rest.
3:30 pm
A happy wakeup from a long nap. I think we’ve transitioned to one nap a day this week.
4:00 pm
Play, play, play.
6:00 pm
The dad gets home and they take a trip to the mailbox together.
8:30 pm
After dinner and more play, Beck snuggles up to his blankets and it’s lights out. I love this kid.
