10 Spring Style and Nursery Trends To Love!
With each new season comes new styles and trends to be inspired by, fall in love with, and mark on your wish list or even To-Do list. Spring is an especially fun season to try a new style because colors, prints, patterns and fabrics usually offer a fresh color palette or fun print. I’ve rounded up a list of my favorite Spring style and nursery trends that I’d love to incorporate into Hayden’s wardrobe or room in the next couple of months. Nothing too drastic, just a small dose of freshness to welcome in one of my favorite seasons. Click through for my top 10 style and nursery trends for baby I’ve fallen head over heels in love with.
Baby Girl Headbands
I love Amy of Little Hip Squeaks fresh take on headbands for little girls. Not too fussy or overly done, she focuses on super soft, quality material printed with the coolest designs. I love the little turban-esque twist of these as well. Perfect for your baby girl, or as a shower gift.
Gosh things have changed since my daughter was born 8 years ago! Now little girls have the most awesome and unique style options, including their own options for infinity scarves! A perfect way to add a simple dose of style to your little lady’s wardrobe, and light enough to wear almost all year long.
There is no shortage of cool graphic bodysuit styles available, so your baby can get a fresh new look almost every day of the week! I love the bold, yet still playful and age appropriate look of this black sheep bodysuit from Kin Ship Goods.
Black and White
Believe it or not, but black and white is one of the biggest trends for baby this past year, and continues to be strong for Spring. It’s fresh and clean looking, and is definitely unique. Plus, babies love the sharp contrast of black and white, so this graphic bodysuit from Hello Apparel is sure to get baby’s attention.
Bottoms and legs sure look different this season, with the help of awesome printed leggings for baby, like these from Candy Kirby Designs. In bold, unique patterns ranging from stripes to arrows, baby can be cozy and stylish in super comfy leggings.
Baby moccs are a great soft-soled shoe option for the minimalist parent who doesn’t want something too fussy on baby’s feet, but still wants comfort and functionality. These bright cobalt blue moccasins from Freshly Picked will add a bright dose of color to baby’s feet this season.
Shirts That Make A Statement
Baby clothes adorned with quotes and sayings is nothing new, but combine fun and unique sayings with cool graphics, and you’ve got a fresh new combination. One of my favorite shirts that make a statement is this “It’s Awesome Time” tee from The Printed Palette.
Arrows are popping up all over baby items, from clothing to leggings, and as seen here, in baby blankets. These organic baby blankets from Little Hip Squeaks are probably my favorite “arrows” baby item though. Super soft and in chic color combinations, they’re breathable so work great as the weather warms up. I really need to get one for Hayden soon!
Black and white continues to be a trend not just for clothing items, but in the nursery as well. Freshen up, or add to a new nursery, with a couple of throw pillows. Placed on the rocking chair or in the crib for display, pillows are a quick and inexpensive way to add style to any space. These black/white graphic pillows from Earth Cadets are some of my favorite out there!
It seems like every hip and cool kids room and nursery has a teepee in it lately, and it’s easy to see why! They’re magical little spaces for small people to escape to and call their own. I love this DIY option from Jen Loves Kev if you’d like to make your own. Now, just to find the room for our own teepee!
