10 Disney Baby Products I Couldn’t Live Without During Baby’s First Week
Now that our son Judah is finally home after a month in the hospital NICU, we’ve been getting used to life as “normal” parents: establishing a routine that doesn’t involve a team or nurses or doing a surgical scrub every time we want to hold him. Now that we’ve survived our first full week out of the hospital, there have been a number of quality Disney Baby products that have made bonding and getting used to life with Judah so much easier!
Disney Cuddly Bodysuits
From basic white to ones with adorable designs, like this one with Mickey Mouse, Disney’s Cuddly Bodysuits are made of soft, breathable cotton that won’t irritate my baby’s skin. And with their two rows of snaps, I know Judah won’t outgrow them right away. Plus, he looks wicked cute in them whenever we go out!
Mombo Nursing Pillow
Breastfeeding has been made so much easier with a nursing pillow; my son eats like a champ!
Huggies Natural Care Wipes
We basically have a box of baby wipes in every room of the house now, it seems! This particular box lives at our diaper changing station in Judah’s nursery. We especially love that they’re hypoallergenic so they’re kind on baby’s skin.
Judah’s Baby Memory Book
Judah got this lovely baby book from his Aunt Rachel. We’re not sure who’s the bigger Disney fan: she or her mom, Judah’s Nana! Having a baby book reminds us to stop and save all of Judah’s little magical moments we might otherwise miss.
Huggies Pure & Natural Diapers
With as many diapers as Judah will go through in a day, it was important to us that we use diapers that are easy on his skin. These Pure & Natural Diapers from Huggies have been fantastic, from their Leak Lock system to their organic cotton interior.
Travel Baby Swing
Judah loves to be rocked to sleep and a baby swing certainly makes that easier, giving our arms and back a break every now and then. We opted for a travel swing similar to this Finding Nemo swing to save on real estate in our home and so we could take it with us on the go if we needed.
It’s a Small World After All Books
We got a few of these as gifts for Judah’s bris and we love the bright colors and design. It’s nice to break up the afternoon awake time with some reading that helps to engage his visual development at the same time.
Disney Baby Lullaby CD
As part of Judah’s bedtime routine, I like to sing to him. We started by playing him Disney lullabies in the NICU and have brought the tradition home with us.
Car Seat Chimes
Sometimes Judah likes to hang out in the car seat… even when he isn’t in the car. To keep him developmentally engaged, we add a couple of plush chime toys, like these from Disney, to dangle from the handle.
